Paul Bootlis’ career in writing, advertising and digital media has spanned 20 years, working in Melbourne, Sydney, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Over this time, he's gained extensive creative experience in advertising agencies and worked for the world’s leading brands, winning every major advertising accolade.

He has won 2 coveted D&AD black pencils and 3 Cannes lion grands prix - including the inaugural Sustainable Development grand prix and a Titanium grand prix.

During his tenure as digital creative director at Host/Havas Sydney, it won Advertising Agency of the Year and Campaign of the Year from key award shows, and a Grand Effie.

It was ranked no.1 agency in the Asia-Pacific by the Cannes Lions.

As associate creative director at Media Arts Lab Los Angeles, Paul oversaw marketing for the ‘Super School Project’, a nationwide $50-million-dollar campaign to crowdsource innovative new high school models, spearheaded by Laurene Powell Jobs.

As a senior creative at AKQA San Francisco, he developed marketing for Google and the launch of Apple Watch.

He was also a lead creative on the multi-award-winning ‘Station to Station’ interactive art experience for Levi’s.

Paul is a member of the AFA (Advertising Federation of Australia) Graduate Program. A native of Melbourne, he is based in Sydney.
